The latest solar charger from Voltaic sets a new standard with its multiple adapters, longer battery life, and compact size.

The two 2W solar panel takes 4 to 5 hours to fully charge your phone, which is equal to about 48 hours of music or 18 hours of talk time. The charger takes 7 hours to fully power up under direct sunlight, which is pretty good. Its USB doesn’t just store sun power, but can be hooked up with a USB power cable too.  The total capacity is 3,000mAh and the panels can be switched from 6 and 12 volts, something to take note of if you are going to use it to charge DSLR cameras.

If you’ve ever gone hiking, you no doubt know how important it is to have a powerful solar charger and a robust bag at the same time. The latest product from Voltaic aims to do both and more. At 11.5″ x 7″ x 0.5” (H x W x D) the bag is slim and easy to carry around. Just 1.3 lbs it is very lightweight, but don’t let that fool you, because the Fuse 4W Solar Charger is designed to take bumps and hits without getting damaged. And if that’s not enough, the shell is waterproof and UV resistant as well.
